As many people know, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling has become not only a household name, but a critically acclaimed series, and the popular movies are only adding to the amazing reputation this series has.
Background Information
The Harry Potter stories are centered around a boy named Harry Potter, whose parents were murdered by a dark wizard, Lord Voldemort. Because of this Harry must live with his Muggle (human Non-wizards) aunt and uncle. On Harry's eleventh birthday, The game keeper from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and Wizardry comes to collect Harry and bring him into the Wizarding world, and more specifically Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizadry. Harry meets many conflicts throughout his years at Hogwarts School, both big and small. But one thing remains the same. Every conflict is because of Lord Voldemort, whether Voldemort himself is trying to destroy Harry, or he is having someone or something else do his dirty work. Voldemort's ultimate goal is Complete power of the Human and Wizarding worlds and to destroy Harry in the process, and Harry's ultimate goal is to stop him.
Upcoming Movie
Now the Latest movie in the Harry Potter motion picture series is quick on the way. The release date is July 15, 2009. The premise of this movie is based on the 6th book in the series by J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Harry and his buddies Ron and Hermione are back at Hogwarts like always this year, after Dumbledore and Harry persuaded Horace Slughorn (Dumbledore's friend) to teach at Hogwarts again. However Slughorn takes the Potions job, leaving Snape , the previous potions teacher, his dream job. Defense against the dark arts. And Harry is now being required to take personal training classes with the headmaster himself, Dumbledore. But it seems that Snape has returned to the Darkness and Lord Voldemort, as he takes an Unbreakable Vow to complete an assignment given to Draco Malfoy (Harry's nemesis) by Voldemort himself, But only if Draco fails to do it himself. But that's not the only drama at Hogwarts as teenage hormones are running Rampant. Harry is intrested in Ginny (his best friend (Ron's) sister), while Lavander Brown has decided she wants Ron.
How will the year end at Hogwarts? And what is Draco's assignment? Things seem to be culminating, but culminating to what? You'll have to watch the movie to find out (or read the book). But one thing is for sure. Things will never be the same.
