Electronic Entertainment Expo, 2009 (E3)

Recently the largest video game entertainment expo showed off the future of gaming. Of course I'm talking about E3, or the Electronic, Entertainment, Expo. For those of you not familiar with this expo it is held once every year and the three giants of video gaming (Nintedo, Sony, and Microsoft) show off their newest gadgets and game plans for the year. Lets not forget the developers such as Ubisoft and EA. They get to show off too.
Fans come from all around the country to wherever the expo is being held that year, just so they can be the first to see the secrets the gaming industry has been keeping. The past few years though, E3 had been slow, as fans were not allowed and "booth babes" were gone. This year however, the balance has been restored, and E3 was busting at the seams with fans. I was not able to attend, but I did watch many hours of it on G4, a television station that covered the whole thing. And what I saw, excited me.
Things like A new Mario Bros. game, Wii motion plus, and More fitness games for the Wii, No controller gameplay with the Natal from Microsoft, and Motion controls from Sony. these things barely scratch the surface.
I traditonally have always been a Nintendo guy, but after this year, I have been swayed by microsoft, and now I am currently trying to raise money to aquire an Xbox 360. Why not a PS3 you ask? Well lets just say, that a PS3 is still out of the price range for ALOT of people.
What from Microsoft swayed me? Well I took a look at all the amazing looking games coming out such as Halo:ODST, Splinter cell: Conviction, and Assassins Creed, and I said: "Dang....". I actually didn't know why I didn't want a 360 before. The price has gone down since the original release, as all consoles do. And, lets not forget about Natal, and all the other amazing games that have already come out for the Xbox 360, and also Xbox live.
I already own a Wii, and am looking forward to using Wii motion plus, and all the other games such as Red Steel 2. But What really caught my eye this year, was all the good looking games for Xbox 360. So even if your not a gamer, What do you think about all this amazing technology coming out?
